JOB PURPORSE
We are seeking a highly strategic, data-driven, and experienced Planning Director to lead and grow our Planning team. This role requires a thought leader who can drive strategy and communication planning for integrated marketing communications (IMC) projects, with a particular focus on PR & social, influencer marketing, and advocacy campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consulting key clients, captaining major pitches, and delivering impactful innovative solutions powered by strategic insights and data analytics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Growth
- Together with Chief Strategy Officer, lead, mentor, and develop the planning team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
- Identify talent gaps and implement strategies to build the team’s capabilities in line with business goals.
- Oversee workflow management, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables from the planning team.
Strategic & Communication Planning
- Develop robust strategies and communication plans for IMC projects, with a strong focus on PR & social, influencer marketing, and advocacy campaigns.
- Combine creative thinking and data insights to craft compelling innovative campaign ideas.
- Ensure all strategies are aligned with client objectives and deliver measurable results.
Client Consulting & Relationship Management
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to key clients, providing solutions to complex challenges and guiding them toward achieving their business goals.
- Regularly present strategies, insights, and recommendations to clients, ensuring their buy-in and satisfaction.
- Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen relationships with clients and drive growth.
Pitch Leadership
- Take ownership of major pitches under CSO's guidande and support, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver winning proposals and presentations.
- Oversee the strategic direction, insights, and creative solutions for pitch projects.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends to inspire cutting-edge pitch ideas.
Data & Insights
- Leverage data analytics to uncover insights that inform strategy development and campaign optimization.
- Ensure the integration of data and insights into all strategic and creative processes.
- Monitor campaign performance, interpret results, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with creative, account management, and production teams to ensure seamless implementation of strategies.
- Act as a bridge between the planning team and other departments to foster a unified approach to projects.
- Contribute to the agency’s thought leadership by developing insights and strategies that inspire both internal teams and external clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
Professional Experience
- Minimum 8 -10 years in strategy and communication planning, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role and strong experience on social campaigns, influencer marketing, and advocacy campaigns.
- Proven success in leading planning teams, consulting with high-profile clients, and managing major pitches.
- Experience in influencer marketing & social projects, with a focus on integrating various channels, including social and digital marketing.

- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and digital platforms, particularly social media.
- Strong data analytical capabilities and the ability to use analytics tools to measure and improve campaign performance.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire clients and internal teams.
- Proficient in developing and managing budgets, timelines, and resources for campaigns and pitches.

Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
